We Thought We’d Get Banned from the Museum of Life and Science. Instead, We Became a Staple.
We set up a hot sauce trivia stand at the Museum of Life and Science’s 21+ beer tasting night this spring. Death Rides a Bull was the prize for getting a question right. We figured worst case, somebody’s tongue goes numb for a minute. We poured shots of Death Rides a Bull for anyone who got the trivia question right. What we did not expect was a Reddit post.
Someone in the crowd wrote up the whole night start to finish, and it might be the best thing anyone has ever written about our sauce.
Read the whole account here. Death Rides a Bull did exactly what it says on the label, and at least one very brave soul was heard shouting IT’S STILL INSIDE ME somewhere near the butterfly gardens.
We figured that was the last time the museum would ever let us near a beer tasting again. The museum called the following week and asked us to come back and do a fiery challenge. We’ve been doing them ever since.
Durham didn’t build its reputation on mild, and neither did we. Grab a bottle of Death Rides a Bull and see how long you last.
